ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent police to grant the permission and protection to conduct the Vinayagar Chadhurthi festival from 17.09.2023 to 20.09.2023 and procession on 20.09.2023.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) after taking instructions from the concerned police has reported that the respondent police have no objection to grant the permission and protection to the petitioner to conduct the Vinayagar Chadhurthi festival from 17.09.2023 to 20.09.2023 and procession on 20.09.2023. 3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to file fresh application, on which the respondent police are directed to consider the same and grant the permission and protection for conducting the Vinayagar Chadhurthi festival from 17.09.2023 to 20.09.2023 and procession on 20.09.2023 by following the directions issued by this Court in W.P.Nos.11366 and 11467 of 2020 dated 21.08.2020.
