ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to call for general body meeting of the Middle Street Jumma Pallivasal, Keelakarai to be conducted for electing the new administrative committee members in the presence of the 2nd respondent within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.21933 of 2019 2.The petitioner appears to have given a representation dated 05.09.2018. Thereafter, a show cause notice dated 08.10.2018 has been issued by the 1st respondent against the Office Bearers, which includes the newly impleaded respondents 4 and 5 herein. In the aforesaid show cause notice proceeding, a reply has been filed by the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent has communicated the decision of the 1st respondent informing the petitioner that the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2018 was receiving attention. 3.Considering the fact that the said representation has received attention, but till date the 1st respondent has not passed any order, I am inclined to dispose of this writ petition, by directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The Writ Petition stands disposed of, accordingly. It is made clear that the election should be held in accordance with the provisions of the Act and the proceedings of the same shall be commenced immediately. No costs.
