This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 not to interfere in the civil dispute and further to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 24.08.2023.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that there are disputes between the petitioner and one Sethumadhavan in respect of a money scheme and in respect of that dispute, he filed complaints before various Police Stations against the petitioner and after conducting the enquiry, the complaints were closed. It is submitted further that the same person again filed a complaint before respondent Nos.1 to 3 Police, on which, the respondent Police again started enquiry, thereby, sought for suitable directions.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on the other hand submits that the petitioner has not appeared for the enquiry in respect of a complaint given by Sethumadhavan and if the petitioner appears before the respondent Police and submits all records in respect of the earlier enquiry, the respondent Police would take action in respect of the representation. It is further submitted that the respondent Police has not received the representation dated 24.08.2023 and there is no acknowledgement filed before the Court that 2/4
the representation has been received by the respondent Police.

Considering the submissions made by both sides, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the enquiry in respect of the complaint given by Sethumadhavan against the petitioner by following due process of law as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the petitioner is directed to appear for the enquiry before the respondent Police and submit all the records. No costs.
