JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) This writ appeal is directed against the order passed in W.P. (MD)No.16111 of 2025 dated 18.06.2025, which was filed seeking to fix the proper seniority to the petitioner.

2.Perusal of the order impugned in this writ appeal shows that the learned Single Judge without going into the merits of the matter had merely directed the competent authority to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025 after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested persons. Therefore, no prejudice is caused to the appellant. 3.Hence, we do not find any merits in this appeal warranting interference with the order of the learned Single Judge. The authorities, before passing any order on the representation, shall give an opportunity of hearing to the appellant.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
