For Petitioner : Mr.S.Pugalendhi For R1 & R2 :Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2023.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the immovable property and the respondents 3 and 4, who are the neighbours of the petitioner tress-passed into the petitioner's land thereby a complaint is filed before the police, as no action is taken suitable protection from the unofficial respondents is sought for.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that earlier the petitioner has given a complaint and 2/5

the same was registered as C.S.R.No.289 of 2023 and it was closed on 16.03.2023 as the issue between the parties is purely civil in nature. It is also submitted that further a fresh complaint has been filed on 03.08.2023 and the same is pending for enquiry and submitted that within a short time, they will complete the enquiry.

Considering the submissions made by both sides and also the submission of the learned Government Advocate that within the short time the respondent police will complete the enquiry, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to complete the enquiry, as quickly as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
