ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 to take action as against the respondents 6 and 7 and to remove the illegal Hollow bricks company put up by them in RS.Nos.192/3 and 193/3A2 Attoor Village, Thiruvattar Taluk (the then Kalkulam Taluk), Kanyakumari District, based upon the representation given by the petitioner dated 12.02.2019. 2/5

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 6 and 7 submitted that they filed an application before the fifth respondent on 29.07.2019, seeking permission to run the Hollow bricks company. In view of the objection raised by the petitioner, their application has not been considered so far.

3. Considering the above said facts, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

(i) The fifth respondent is directed to consider the application presented by the respondents 6 and 7 dated 29.07.2019 and pass an order after hearing the objections of the writ petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(ii) Until any order is passed in favour of the respondents 6 and 7, the respondents 6 and 7 shall not be permitted to continue the Hollow bricks company.

4. With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 04.02.2026 TTA TO
