ORDER

This review application is filed to review the order, dated 03/07/2025 made in WP(MD)No.18178 of 2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the review applicant, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 2 and 3 and the learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 5. Page No. 2 of 6

3.The parties have already arrived at an agreement in respect of the First Honours in respect of the subject temple namely Arulmighu Soundaranayagi Ambal Sametha Kailasanatha Swamy Thirukovil. Earlier an order came to be passed by this court on 03/07/2025. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the review applicant submits that para 8 of the order passed in WP(MD)No.18178 of 2025, dated 03/07/2025 requires a slight modification and hence, this review application has been filed. It is submitted that the private respondent No.1 may if decides to approach the HR & CE Department under section 63(e) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Endowment Act, 1959. 5.The learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/writ petitioner, on the other hand, would submit that the attempt of the review applicant appears to be deviated the established practice, therefore, it is for the review applicant to move an application before the HR & CE Department under section 63(e) of the Act.

6.The temple festival is a perennial event, which is held once in a year during the Tamil Month Aadi (July/August). Therefore, it is for the parties to approach the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Sivagangai District under section 63(e) of the HR & CE Act, so that there is no further confusion during the enuring temple festivals. 7.Accordingly, the review application stands ordered. In case, such an application is filed, the same shall be disposed of by the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department concerned as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months. Needless to state that all the parties concerned shall be heard. No costs.
