ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/Accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 406 and 420 of IPC, in Crime No. Not known of 2022, seek anticipatory bail.

CRL OP(MD).No.17655 of 2022 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petition enquiry is pending against the petitioners.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and if any prima facie made out against the petitioners, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the first petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent and co-operate for the enquiry and the petitioners 2 to 5 are directed to appear for the enquiry as and when required. In the meanwhile, the petitioners shall not be arrested.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
