PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the Appeal filed by the Petitioner Organization dated 07.02.2024 and the reminder dated 20.06.2024 within a period stipulated time by this Court. 1/4

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the Appeal filed by the petitioner organization dated 07.02.2024 and the reminder dated 20.06.2024 within a period stipulated time by this Court. 2.Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner organization is doing social welfare services to the abandoned, widowed and the persons with disabilities. The petitioner organization was brought under the District list of Consumer Non Government Organizations in the year 2016. While this being so, the second respondent issued the proceedings removing the name of the petitioner organization. To that effect, the third respondent has also issued a letter. Challenging the same, the petitioner 2/4

organization preferred an appeal before the first respondent. Since the same was kept pending without any development, seeking disposal of the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the first respondent, if the petitioner's appeal dated 07.02.2024 and the reminder dated 20.06.2024 is considered on merits and in accordance with law. 5.Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 07.02.2024 and the reminder dated 20.06.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
