This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to direct the respondents 2 to 4 not to interfere in the civil dispute between the petitioner and the fifth respondent pending in O.S.No.331 of 2022 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Sankarankovil.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petition enquiry is pending before the second respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondent police is insisting the petitioner to withdraw the civil suit under the guise of an enquiry and so, the petitioner has not appeared before the second respondent for enquiry.

4.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry in the manner known to law. Further, during the course of enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
