PRAYER :- Bail in Crime No.283 of 2022 on the file of Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 15.09.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 120(B), 420, 406 and 473 of IPC, in Crime No.283 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the Manager of Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank, Veerasigamani Branch, Tenkasi District. The petitioner along with other accused said to have received gold loan from the Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank, Veerasigamani Branch, Tenkasi District, by using duplicate gold jewels. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.17872 of 2022 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police and the learned counsel for the Intervenor would submit that Crime No.235 of 2022 has been registered against the petitioner on 21.09.2022, which is similar in nature and the investigation is in initial stage.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the petitioner is involved in very same occurrence and investigation is in initial stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
