No.284/7B situate in Neivasal Revenue Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner for the extent of 37 cents in the light of registered sale deed in Doc No.212/1990 dated 19.04.1990 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2024 and 23.12.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court. 1/5

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to rectify the mistake that occurred in the revenue records and FMB in respect of the property comprised in S.F.No.284/7B, situated at Neivasal Revenue Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2024 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Paranjothi, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.D.S.Nedunchizan, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he purchased 0.15.00 ares in the subject survey number under a registered sale deed dated 19.04.1990. However, in the revenue records and the FMB, the extent of land pertaining to the subject property has been wrongly recorded as 0.13.62 ares. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 23.12.2024 before the respondents seeking rectification of the revenue records and FMB. 2/5

Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5. A perusal of the acknowledgement issued by the first respondent indicates that the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2024 has already been forwarded to the second respondent.

6. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
