ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.6, who was arrested and remanded judicial custody on 15.07.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 302 and 506(2) of IPC, in Crime No.266 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 14.07.2022 at about 09.00 p.m., when the defacto complainant's husband standing near the petty shop, three unknown person came in a two wheeler and assaulted him by using iron rod and aruval. Due to that, the defacto complainant's husband died on the spot. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that it is a case of retaliation and that investigation is still pending.

CRL OP(MD). No.17959 of 2022 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged as against the petitioner and also the fact that investigation is still pending, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
