ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 418, 420 and 120(B) of I.P.C., in Crime No.10 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with A1 had approached the de-facto complainant, SBI Branch, in the year 2014, seeking loan for a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- on a collateral security worth of Rs.93,50,000/-, which is valued by one Muralidaran/A3, who was working as the Bank Valuer in the said Branch. Later, he came to know that the property is valued high and repayment was not properly done and already a case in Crime No.13 of 2016 was registered against the petitioner and the same was also charge sheeted and therefore, the present complaint came to be https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.19365 of 2021 lodged based on the direction issued by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli in Cr.M.P.No.4958 of 2017. Hence, the case.

3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner is having five previous cases of similar in nature.

5.Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also the fact that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 08/03/2023 / TRUE COPY / /03/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
