O R D E R

Alleging non-compliance of the order, dated 07.04.2022, passed in W.M.P(MD)No.5018 of 2022 in W.P(MD)No.6462 of 2022, this contempt petition is filed.

2. The petitioner has filed a writ petition in W.P(MD)No.6462 of 2022 as against the order of cancelling the patta passed by the District Revenue Officer. This Court has also entertained the writ petition and granted an order of interim stay on 07.04.2022. Despite the same, the Tahsildar has passed an order implemending the orders of the District Revenue Officer by cancelling the patta stands in the name of the petitioner and issued in favour of the ancesters. Therefore, this contempt petition is filed on the ground that the orders of this Court dated 07.04.2022 has been violated.

3. Mr.P.T.Thiraviyam, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the Tahsildar has passed the order without knowing the orders of this Court in W.M.P(MD)No.5018 of 2022 in W.P(MD)No.6462 of 2022. On receipt of the notice in the contempt petition, he has immediately recalled the order and restored the same today i.e., 13.09.2023.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate, this contempt petition is closed.
