PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1 to 4 respondents to grant permission for construction and renovation of the temple namely Arulmigu Sri Annakamatchi amman temple situated at Poosadurai Village, Pudukkottai Taluk and District on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 23.02.2023 and further direct to dispose the same within the time fixed and stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to grant permission for construction and renovation of the temple, namely; Arulmigu Sri Annakamatchi amman temple situated at Poosadurai Village, Pudukkottai Taluk and District on the basis of the petitioner representation, dated 23.02.2023.

2. Heard Mr.V.R.Shanmuganathan, for Mr.A.Joel Paul Antony, the Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, Mr.S.Kameswaran, the Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents 1 to 3, Mr.G.Mathavan, the Learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent and perused the material documents available on record.
3. The Learned Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent submitted that the ground works are completed and the renovation work will be undertaken.
4. The Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted a representation in this regard. Likewise, the other persons have also submitted representation. After considering these representations, the respondent ought to take a decision.
5. Recording the aforesaid submission, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation as well as the representation submitted by the other persons and pass appropriate orders, within a period of Two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 3/6
6. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition is allowed. No Costs.
