This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to take immediate action and to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 30.06.2021 under the Maintenance and welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens (Amendment) Act 2017, within the time stipulated by this Court.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the official respondents submitted that the second respondent has already passed an order through proceedings dated 13.10.2023. The copy of the same was also furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 2/4

3. Recording the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
