ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b) of IPC and 4 of TNPHW Act and 4 of DP Act, in Crime No.19 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant gave the complaint that the petitioner is and his family members are harassing for dowry and caused cruelty. Hence, the apprehension of arrest. Hence, a case has been registered as against the petitioner.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence. He seeks this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the offences committed by the petitioner are serious in nature.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court referred the matter to Mediation and Conciliation Centre. However, the mediation has not concluded and the parties have expressed their views that mediation is not necessary.

6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 13.10.2025 TMG TO 1.The Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Colachel, Kanyakumari District.
