O R D E R

The petitioner is the husband of one Sinthumathi. Alleging that from 04.11.2021, his wife is found missing, he has filed this habeas corpus petition.

2. The respondent Police has secured the said Sinthumathi and produced her before this Court.

3. On enquiry, Sinthumathi states that she and the petitioner loved each other and got married twenty years ago and they have three children and they were living in her parents' house. While so, the petitioner used to torture her physically and beat her suspecting her fidelity. Therefore, she left her parents' house and presently, she is living in her maternal aunt's house. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.1858 of 2021 The petitioner also left her mother's home and living with his parents. The petitioner's wife further states that she is not inclined to join the petitioner and she is peacefully living under the care of her brother at her maternal aunt's house. This Court is satisfied that the wife of the petitioner is alive and not in illegal custody of any one.

4. Recording the above submission, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
