For Petitioner : Mr.V.Illanchezian

O R D E R

This Contempt petition has been filed on the ground that the direction issued by this Court to the respondents/contemnors has not been complied with.

2.When the writ petition was disposed of, a mention was made in the order, as if the property, which the petitioner was seeking for electricity connection, was situated in S.No.178/4B. However, it is a typographical error and the petitioner was actually seeking for electricity service connection in the property situated at S.No.179/4B. Taking advantage of this typographical error, the respondents have sent a communication to the petitioner to establish his right over the property in S.No.178/4B.

3.In the considered view of this Court, the respondent cannot take advantage of a typographical error that was crept in the order copy. When the application has been submitted before the respondents, the petitioner has correctly mentioned the survey number as 179/4B. 4.In view of the above, there shall be a specific direction to the

respondent to process the application submitted by the petitioner for providing electricity connection to the property situated in S.No.179/4B, if the same is in order and the necessary service connection shall be given within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Contempt petition is disposed of with the above direction. 03.11.2022 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No RR
