This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.23 of 2018 dated 05.12.2018 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the respondent police has completed the investigation and they have filed a closure report as "Action Dropped" on 12.02.2019.

4.In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to serve notice of "Action Dropped" to the second respondent and the second respondent is at liberty to proceed, in accordance with law. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
