O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of a false complaint given by the third respondent.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has purchased the property from a valid title holder. However, the third respondent has filed a false complaint before the Police that a forgery was committed while executing the document in favour of the petitioner, basing on which, the Police have been harassing the petitioner. It is further submitted that the third respondent has filed a complaint before the District Registrar, who after conducting enquiry, has issued the proceedings advising the parties to approach the civil Court for appropriate directions.

Mr.H.Lakshmi Shankar, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submits that the petitioner and others have created a registered sale deed by way of forgery by mentioning the third respondent's mother who is alive as dead and by producing fake document. It is also submitted that the photographs affixed in the document are Aadhar cards and thereby, a complaint has been given and 2/5
the Police have registered the same as C.S.R.No.711 of 2023 and the enquiry is being undertaken.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that the enquiry in the complaint given by the third respondent which is registered as C.S.R.No.711 of 2023 is going on and the petitioner has, without cooperating with the investigation, has filed this petition.
5. Considering the submission made by both parties, it is clear that the allegations levelled in the complaint made by the third respondent against the petitioner are very serious in nature. The Police should have registered the case by this time itself. Hence, the respondents Police are directed to complete the investigation as quickly as possible without any delay.
