PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate, Mahila Court (Magistrate Level) Madurai to dispose of the C.C.No.35 of 2017 within the stipulated time.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate, Mahila Court (Magistrate Level) Madurai to dispose of the C.C.No.35 of 2017 within the stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the case is pending before the trial court for a long time. Hence he has filed this petition to dispose the case.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be direction to the learned Additional Judicial Magistrate, Mahila Court (Magistrate Level) Madurai to complete the trial in C.C.No. 35 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Crl.O.P.(MD) No.15064 of 2019 directed to appear before the concerned court on all hearing dates without fail. If the petitioners fail to appear before the trial court on the hearing dates,the trial Court shall take action against the petitioners in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
