ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.36 of 2019 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoothukudi.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and the respondent are husband and wife. The issue between the parties has been settled out of the Court.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the wife has received the property from her husband and relinquished her claim for maintenance.

4. In view of the settlement between the parties, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
