ORDER

Heard Mr.Gobi Bala, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the competent authority to decide the application, post the matter being remitted, is the RDO and not the Tahsildar. Hence, the order in W.P(MD).No.12720 of 2025 dated 29.04.2025 is sought to be reviewed. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader fairly submits that the competent authority is only the RDO, Sivagangai and not the Tahsildar, as indicated in the order passed in the writ petition. 4.In the light of the above, the order dated 29.04.2025 in W.P(MD).No.12720 of 2025 is modified and in the paragraph No.3, the word '3rd respondent' shall be replaced as the '2nd respondent'. Considering that the order was passed on 29.04.2025, the 2nd respondent is directed to given an opportunity to the petitioner and decide the petitioner's application 3/5

on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.In view of the above, this Review Application is disposed of. The Registry is directed to carryout necessary correction and issue a fresh order copy.
