PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order of transfer dated 03.08.2024 issued by the 4th respondent and to quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to declare the petitioner's probation and to regularize her service. ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed by an Assistant working in the Bharat Heavy Electrical Employees Co-operative Bank, challenging her order of transfer from Trichirappalli to Ranipet branch. 2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is having a tender aged child and considering the inconvenience caused, the petitioner could have been transferred within Trichy District to another branch namely Kattur branch. He further contended that only because of the fact that the petitioner had filed a writ petition seeking maternity benefits, she has been transferred.

3.Per contra, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Co-operative bank submits that the petitioner as well as another employee namely S.Kirthika, who belonged to 2021 Batch have completed 3 years of service at BHEL Campus Branch and they have been transferred to Ranipet Branch and therefore, there is no malafide intention in transferring the petitioner to Ranipet Branch. He further contended that it is a routine administrative transfer and therefore, the petitioner cannot have any grievance. 4.Considering the fact the petitioner has been transferred after a period of 3 years and it is a routine transfer order without imputation of any charges, this Court is not inclined to intervene in the said writ petition. However, it is for the writ petitioner to make a request to the employer to get transferred to any branch in Trichy and if any such request is made, the same may be considered on merits and in accordance with law.
5.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 13.09.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No RJR 3/5
