O RDER This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to provide police protection on the basis of a representation given by the petitioner, dated 21.02.2023.

2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a landlord and the unofficial respondent being the tenant has been threatening the petitioner and in spite of representations made to the Police, no action has been taken so far, thereby, sought for suitable directions.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the petitioner has filed a representation earlier and it was numbered as C.S.R.No.155 of 2023 and enquiry was initiated, however, the petitioner has failed to co-operate with the enquiry and the same is pending. Further, the petitioner has filed one more complaint, dated 21.02.2023 and it was received through the higher officers, thereby, registered as a current paper and in this petition also, the enquiry was initiated, however, the petitioner has not been co-operated and the petitioner has refused to receive the summons. Thereby, both the petitions are pending for enquiry. It is submitted that,once petitioner appears before the Police, they will 2/4

complete the enquiry in respect of grievance of the petitioner and decide the issue objectively.

4. Respondent No.3 has appeared personally and submitted that the petitioner has been threatening the third respondent and he has got video and audio records, which he will submit before the respondent Police during the course of enquiry.

5. In view of the submissions made by both sides and on perusal of records, this petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent Police on 18.09.2023, on which, the respondent Police are directed to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.155 of 2023 and another representation, dated 21.02.2023 and complete the enquiry as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner.
