ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.09.2022.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an agriculturist and also carrying on business under the name and style of KM Consultancy without any remarks. While so, one Nodichamy approached him to get job at Poland. Though he made all arrangements to send him to Poland, due to pandemic situation, the said Nodichamy could not able to proceed to Poland. On 09.07.2022, one Mahendiran, who is the Councillor of Therukupatti, came to his office along with some rowdy elements, abused lady staff in filthy language without any reason and also threatened him. Therefore, he lodged a complaint on 20.09.2022 with the 2nd respondent against the accused persons. But, the second respondent has not taken any action against the accused persons so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 2/4

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that after receiving the petitioner's complaint dated 20.09.2022, the respondent Police issued CSR number and though the petitioner was called for enquiry, he is not co-operating with the respondent Police for enquiry.

4. Considering the said submission, this Court directs the petitioner to co-operate with the respondent Police for the enquiry. The respondents are also directed to complete the enquiry, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court is not granting any positive direction/order in favour of the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
