This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to grant necessary permission and give police protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament at Mutthandipatti Post & Village, Boothalur Taluk, Thanjavur District on 07.10.2022 to 10.10.2022 respectively on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 28.09.2022.
2.When the matter is called, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) raised objection stating that there is a law and order problem. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondent. On making of fresh representation, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 07.10.2022.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
