PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents, particularly the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2025, sent for issuance of legal heir certificate of the petitioner's deceased grandmother namely Chinnammal in favour of the petitioner. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the respondents to consider a representation of the petitioner dated 05.06.2025 and issue legal heirship certificate for his deceased grandmother, namely, Chinnammal.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has given a representation on 05.06.2025 along with 10 documents. So far, orders have not been passed by the authority concerned.

3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the request of the petitioner dated 05.06.2025 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
