ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to grant police protection for the petitioner's life and to run his shop in Door No.27/339F/1008 and 27/339/1006 situated at K.P.Road, North Side Mathyas Ward Nagercoil.

W.P.(MD).No.17055 of 2018 2.Heard the learned counsel for the appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the complaint is pending on the file of the first respondent police, seeking police protection by the petitioner.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner along with counter parties, after giving opportunity to both side and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
