Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants the respondents to delete his name from the history sheet. Usually, when the petitioner has not come under adverse notice of the police for the preceeding two years, a direction for deleting the name is issued. In this case, the petitioner was once a murder case accused but it ended in acquittal. However, a few cases were registered in the year 2020 and 2021.
