the respondents 1 to 4 to take action against the 5th respondent for committing excommunication and further forbearing the 5th respondent in anyway committing any further acts of excommunication of Mutharaiyar community people of Menampatti Village in Pudukkottai District from participating in Arulmighu Mookara Pillaiyar Temple, festival to be conducted on 08.08.2025 and 15.08.2025.

Seeking a direction to the official respondents to take action as against the private respondents herein, for excommunicating the petitioner from participating in Arulmighu Mookara Pillaiyar Temple festival to be conducted on 08.08.2025 and 15.08.2025, the petitioner has approached this Court. 2.Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the 2/5

respondents 2 to 4 submits that as of now, the time for conducting the temple festival itself is over and hence, nothing survives in this writ petition.

3.In view of the above, by recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
