ORDER
This is a petition seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the Respondent for violation of the order, dated 16.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.18488 of 2022.
2. Heard Ms.R.Praveena, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.K.Ramaiah, learned Standing Counsel for the Respondents.
3. In compliance with the order dated 16.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.18488 of 2022, the respondent has complied with the order dated 16.08.2022 passed by this Court through the order dated 08.11.2024.
4. Mr.K.Ramaiah, the learned Standing Counsel, produced an order dated 08.11.2024, passed by the Respondent before this Court and submits that the respondent has made full compliance with the order passed by this Court on 16.08.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.18488 of 2022. A copy of the order has also been taken on record. Therefore, he prays that the Respondent be discharged from the contempt proceedings.

5. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has received the entire monetary benefits as directed by this Court vide order dated 16.08.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.18488 of 2022. Consequently, the Respondent has fully complied with the Court's order, and an order dated 08.11.2024 has also been issued and received by the Petitioner. The counsel further states that she has no objection to discharging the Respondent from the contempt proceedings.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent and upon perusal of the order dated 08.11.2024 passed by the Respondent, as well as the statement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the amount has already been disbursed to the Petitioner in compliance with the order dated 16.08.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.18488 of 2022, this Court deems it appropriate that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the contempt proceedings pending. Accordingly, the Respondent is discharged from the contempt proceedings.

7. In view of the above, the Contempt Petition is disposed of. The file shall be consigned to record. No costs.
