O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the direct the first and second respondents to secure the Petitioner's wife namely Grace Joice, W/o. Stalin, aged about 27 years from the illegal custody of the third Respondent.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for the respondent police. 3.It is seen that the petitioner herein got marriage with one Grace Joice, who is the daughter of the third respondent herein, on 21.06.2019. Thereafter, she was taken by the third respondent and detained her as illegal. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent conducted enquiry with the third respondent and it reveals that the daughter of the third respondent does not want to live with the petitioner and right now she is residing in Rajesthan with the third respondent.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.14795 of 2019 4.Under these circumstances, direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the family Court for appropriate relief as against his wife. Further, the second respondent is also directed to complete the investigation and pass appropriate orders on merits as expeditiously as possible.
