PRAYER :-Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.322 of 2022 dated 21.08.2022 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.322 of 2022 dated 21.08.2022 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent. 3.The defacto complainant and the accused persons are present in person before this Court. They have been duly identified by the prosecution and also the learned counsel for the petitioners. On enquiry, the defacto complainant categorically admits before this Court that he did not want to proceed the complaint against the petitioners. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose would be 2/4

served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. 4.Accordingly, the FIR in Crime No.322 of 2022 is quashed in respect of the petitioners.
