Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents 5 and 6 to produce the body or person of the detenue namley Ganga aged about 24 years before this Honourable Court and set her at liberty. O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 5 and 6 to produce the body or person of the detenue namley Ganga aged about 24 years before this Honourable Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that Ganga namely the daughter of the petitioner already got married with the sixth respondent herein and their marriage was also duly https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD).No.14899 of 2018 registered before the Sub Registrar, Nilakottai on 22.03.2019. Infact she also filed petition in Crl.O.P(MD) No.14475 of 2019 before this Court seeking police protection from the hands of the petitioner herein and the same was also ordered by this Court. Now the petitioner being the father of the said Ganga has filed this petition to produce the victim girl before this Court.

3. Only because of the the petitioner's threatening the sixth respondent and his wife namely the daughter of the petitioner are living somewhere.

4. Under these circumstances, the direction sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
