ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 2.The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 120(B), 406, 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No. 2 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
3.The case of the prosecution is that it is a case of job racketing. The accused persons received money from the defacto complainant for getting government job and cheated. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the wife of the second accused and on that score only, this petitioner has been implicated in this case and she had nothing to do with the alleged occurrence.

CRL OP(MD). No.17974 of 2022 5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner along with the first accused had received a sum of Rs.82,34,000/- from the victims on a false promise of arranging government job and cheated them and hence, opposed for grant of anticipatory bail. 6.Considering the nature of offence and the quantum of amount in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
