PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent at drainage canal in S.No.2038, which is running near LVB Nagar, Andangkovil Keelpagam Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District and ensure free flow of sewage water at drainage canal in S.No.2038, 2039, 2040, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2023, within a time frame fixed by this Court. [Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent in the drainage canal in Survey No.2038, which is running near LVB Nagar, Andangkovil Keelpagam Village, Manmangalam Taluk, Karur District and to ensure free flow of sewage water in the drainage canal in S.No. 2038, 2039, 2040, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2023, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. With reference to the complaint raised by the petitioner, the Tashildar, Manmangalam, addressed a letter dated 17.10.2023 to the Government Pleader, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, stating that a field inspection was conducted with reference to the revenue records and there is no encroachment in the subject land as alleged by the petitioner .

3. In view of the said letter, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition and the same is, therefore, closed. No costs.
