No.617 of 2022 pending on the file of the Hon'ble Fast Track Court No.II (Magistrate Level), Madurai in accordance with law within the time stipulated. For Petitioner :Mr.R.Alagumani (in both cases) O RDER These Criminal Original Petitions are filed to direct the Fast Track Court No.II (Magistrate Level), Madurai to expeditiously complete the trial in S.T.C.Nos.617 and 618 of 2022 pending on its file.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.15,00,000/- to the respondent for developing his business for 1% interest. But failed to repay the amount. Later he has executed a bond to repay the amount with interest on or before 24.07.2021. Since, even thereafter, it is was not repaid, the petitioner approached the respondent. On his demand, the respondent issued cheques. On presentation, the cheques were returned as 'insufficient fund'. Thereby he cheated the petitioner. Hence the petitioner has 2/4

filed a case and the same is pending in S.T.C.Nos.617 and 618 of 2022 on the file of the Fast Track Court No.II (Magistrate Level), Madurai.

3. Seeking speedy disposal of the same, this petition came to be filed.

4. It is seen that earlier, a report was called for from the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Fast Track Court, Madurai, as to the stage of the trial process. A report is received stating that it is posted for production of the sureties and trial on 01.11.2023.

5. Considering the above said situation, let the trial process be completed within the time stipulated in order dated 30.01.2023 made in Crl.O.P(MD)No. 1629 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible. A second direction may not be required in the facts and circumstances.

6. With this observation, these Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
