ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner / President of Puliyurkurichi Thevanar Tank Farmers Association with regard to the fishing rights, which has been decided in a peace committee meeting conducted by the second respondent.

2.When the writ petition came up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no longer the President of the Association and they are not conducting any fishing rights in the said Tank. He further submitted that the Public Works Department has taken over the said Tank, stating that it belongs to them. 3.Learned Counsel for the respondents acceded the same and submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous. 4.In view of the above developments, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
