ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider petitioner's online application dated 24.07.2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has filed an application dated 24.07.2023 for issuance of legal heir certificate. However, the said application was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner had filed a physical representation instead of online application. Hence, he requests this Court to direct the petitioner to file an online application, so as to, consider the same.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 2/4

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to file an online application before the respondent for issuance of legal heir certificate. In such case, the respondent shall consider and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
