ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the official respondents. 3.It is seen that the petitioner lodged a complaint on 26.07.2018, seeking police protection. Due to lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to give a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

4.If any complaint is lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and proceed further in accordance with law.
