PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second Respondent to Survey the property comprised in S.No. 486/6 and extent of 0.78.0 ares situated in Arasamalai Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk on the basis of the proceedings of the 1st Respondent in O.Mu.No.3136/2022/A5 dated 05.05.2022 within the period stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner filed an application on 26.04.2022 to survey his property and to fix boundary stone. He has also paid necessary fees and approached this Court that his application has not been considered.

2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents on instructions submits that the petitioner was originally assigned with the land in the year 2006. There was a bifurcation in the year 2014 from Thirumayam to Ponamaravathi, after formation of Ponamaravathi Taluk. Therefore, these changes have not been effected in FMB Sketch. Hence, the learned Additional Government Pleader seeks short accommodation to carry out these changes in the FMB Sketch and thereafter the survey would be concluded within eight weeks. 2/4

3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to conclude the survey within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
