COMMON ORDER The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No.21890 of 2024 has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to grant permission for Valli Thirumanam Nadagam Program perform in Temple consecration ceremony scheduled to be held on 15.09.2024 from 10.00 pm to 05.00 am at Arulmigu Sri Oorkavalan Thirukovil at Thoothai Village, Kothangulam Post, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District and to give necessary police protection to the said program, based on the writ petitioner's representation on 23.08.2024, within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

The Writ Petition in W.P.(MD)No.21930 of 2024 has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to grant permission with protection for Kovil Kumbabhishekam of Arulmigu Sri Oorkavalan Thirukovil at Thoothai Village, Kothangulam Post, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District from 13.09.2024 to 15.09.2024 based on the writ petitioner's representation on 27.08.2024 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

3. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

With regard to conduct of festival to the same temple, one Azhagumalai has filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD)No.21138 of 2024 seeking a writ of mandamus directing the police authorities to provide adequate police protection by considering his representation, dated 16.08.2024 and this Court, taking note of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the writ petitioner's representation is pending before the concerned Tahsildar for consideration, has directed the concerned Tahsildar to convene a peace committee meeting by giving notice to all the parties concerned and take a decision on or before 12.09.2024 in accordance with law vide order dated 06.09.2024.
5. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the Tahsildar, Thiruppuvanam has scheduled a peace committee 4/6
meeting today.
6. Recording the same, the Tahsildar, Thiruppuvanam is directed to convene the meeting by giving notice to all the parties including the writ petitioners herein and take a decision today itself.
7. With the above directions, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
