O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to conclude the inquiry so as to cancel the patta standing in the name of the fourth respondent and restore the same in the petitioner's name, vide Patta No. 613, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.08.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the matter is pending before the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, who will pass appropriate orders within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer to consider 2/4

the case of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
