The present Writ Petition has been filed by a retired Special Grade Driver of the respondent Transport Corporation, seeking benefits under Section 12(3) of ID Act, dated 01.09.2019. To the said effect, the petitioner has sent a representation on 06.02.2024 to the respondents. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to confer the eligible benefits upon the writ petitioner along with interest at the rate of 6% p.a., from the due date till the date of realization, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
