ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

2.The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody, for the offences punishable under sections 6 r/w 5(i) (ii) of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 @ 294(b), 506(i) of IPC and Section 6 r/w 5(I), 5(j)(ii) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, in Crime No. 19 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

3.The case of the prosecution is that the first accused and the defacto complainant were in love with each other. The petitioners herein are the second and third accused and friend of the first accused, who threatened the defacto complainant to have intercourse with the first accused.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have nothing to do with the occurrence as alleged by the prosecution. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.18033 of 2022 5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed grant of bail to the petitioners herein as there is a chance of tampering the evidence.

6.The earlier application filed by the petitioners was dismissed and this is the second application of the petitioner. Considering the heinous nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
