For Petitioner : Mr.R.L.Dhilipan Pandian For R1 to R3 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent Polic to provide Police Protection while conducting the survey and fencing of the property in survey No.217/1 of Muthalur Village, Bogalur, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District, as per the communication of RDO, dated 16.06.2022 by way of proceeding in Na.Ka.P2/10456/2021.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the owner of the land in survey No.217/1 Muthalur Village, Bogalur, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District along with co-sharers. The petitioner's father had earlier filed Suit in O.S.No.87 of 1980 and the same was decreed on 09.05.1983, declaring the title of the petitioner's father in respect of the property, which the petitioner and other co-sharer are claimed. It is submitted that as per the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, dated 16.06.2022, a direction is given to the third respondent to survey the land in survey No.217/1 to an extend of 0.0925 2/4

Sq. Mtrs. in Muthalur Village, Bogalur, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District along with Police protection.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reported that the Police has no objection to provide the Police protection. However, though the Revenue Divisional Officer/second respondent directed Tahsildar/third respondent, the Police are not aware as to when the survey would be taken up.

4. Considering the circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the first respondent Police to provide Police protection on the requisition made by the Tahsildar intimating the dates of survey.
