O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.174 of 2021 dated 26.08.2021 on the file of the first respondent police.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent. 3.The defacto complainant and the accused persons are present in person before this Court. They have been duly identified by the prosecution and also the learned counsel for the petitioners. On enquiry, the defacto complainant categorically submits that they are belong to one family and the second petitioner is the brother of the defacto complainant and to maintain cordiality among the family members, the de-facto complainant wants to withdraw the complaint against the petitioners. Since the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, no purpose would be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. The parties have also filed a joint compromise memo dated 01.10.2022. 2/4

4.Accordingly, the FIR in Crime No.428 of 2020 is quashed in respect of the petitioners. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 07.10.2022 Ns/sn Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No To
